Cub Llewelyn-Davies

Deputy Head - Economy & Society Resilience, National Cyber Security Centre

Cub Llewelyn-Davies is Deputy Head of Economy and Society Resilience at the UK's National Cyber Security Centre, part of GCHQ. He leads work to strengthen national resilience across the nationally significant organisations, civil society, and the wider economy.

Since joining the NCSC in 2017, Cub has shaped how organisations and citizens respond to cyber risk, from delivering the UK's first citizen resilience programme during the COVID-19 pandemic, to leading the development of the flagship Cyber Governance Code of Practice.

His work focuses on embedding cyber resilience into organisational strategy, governance, and decision making. He has also advised Ministers and senior officials in Whitehall on digital, cyber, and national security policy.

Cub is a regular speaker on strategic risk and the role of cyber resilience in leadership and organisational performance.
